Expressing my big city biases but it was great to see, that even in a small town like this, there are right minded people who will stand up against this type of child abuse and homophobia. The parents and pastor should be ashamed of using a child, who can have NO understanding of what he is saying in such a manner. I suppose if religion were finally exposed for the mind washing child abuse it really is that Child Protection Services would be the most active government agencies in America today.

The reactions are very interesting. But the church looks like a small congregation to begin with so no surprise there.
That being said, welcome to RI Alvin. I'll be at Netroots too, can't really avoid it as it's in my home city. Posted my itinerary on my blog.
